Economic development in Pima County is stifled by high taxes and high debt. Our tax rates far exceed tax rates in Maricopa County and our debt burden is the highest in the State.

If we are to create a positive environment for business, for job creation and for economic expansion, we must manage our finances more prudently going forward. We must spread our debt load over a broader economic base.

In summary, we need to change the way Pima County conducts its business.

 I will dedicate myself toward that end as the Supervisor for District 1.
